Andrew Jackson Chapter SAR administers student contests for Nashville area students. Elementary through high school contests are by age group. Winners are submitted to Tennessee Society SAR who in turn submits winners to National Society SAR. Available prizes for the 2017-2018 high school year are $6000 for the winning essay and $6000 for the winning oration. Every participant also wins practice in research, knowledge of the foundations of our nation, and experience in life skills. Click for more details.
